This was one of the first DVDs I ever bought, and somehow it’s taken me all these years to sit down and watch it.
And man, I am so disappointed with it.
This film contains some of my favorite characters and scenes from any Disney film, yet it just falls so flat. It’s so rushed and disjointed, I feel like you hardly get to see anything before it’s over.

If this film was only Louis Tully’s scenes and nothing else, it’d still be 5 stars.
Went into this completely blind, knowing only Michael Keaton was in it and seeing some pictures on the DVD box.
Basing my expectations on those, this film lived up to 0% of them.
And I enjoyed every single second of it.
Definitely requires a rewatch very soon to digest it more.
I don’t know how in my nearly 22 years of life on this planet I’d only managed to see less than a minute of this movie before tonight, but BOY have I been missing out.
This was genuinely one of the funniest films I’ve ever seen. It’s so rich with satire while being so intelligently stupid at the same time, I’ll probably never find a better “so dumb it’s funny” movie.
