This could be the saddest movie I’ve ever seen.
It is incredibly effective in bringing the tears.
The last 30 minutes of the movie is set against the backdrop of Christmas. Some could say this wouldn’t qualify as a holiday movie considering the amount of time is not centered around Christmas, but for me the conclusion of the story benefits by taking place during Christmas. It makes it even more poignant and turns the sad tears you shed into happy tears by the end.
Man, with all the bad press I was really getting prepared to hate this movie.
And so I went in with low expectations. But luckily instead of being disappointed along side high expectations, it is the opposite for me.
It’s the worst of the Captain America movies, but it’s not the worst MCU movie. And in saying it’s the worst Cap movie is mainly because for me Steve Rogers is Captain America. I love Sam Wilson/Falcon. But I’m not sure…
