Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat 2024
Amazing archival footage and story telling. Vibe shifts at the drop of a pin. The jazz was integrated masterfully and made me feel some things in my mind and body.
I didn’t need sooo much context and for some reason it ended up portraying USSR as some kind of anticolonial hero nation. I Would have still gladly accepted a bear hug from premier Khrushchev. I would also pay with the blood of my first born child to have been at his meeting with Castro and Malcolm X in Harlem.
