Gladiator II 2024
Not much redeeming in this one. Watched over 2 nights after falling asleep and almost needed a third. Never bought in, felt like it was trying to ride the glory of the first one so hard and never came close. Paul Mescal and most of the characters were funny in a bad way. Did enjoy how beefy Paul got and thinking about life in Rome which would be insane. Also the monkeys in the first arena scene were badass. Too bad, really wanted this one to pan out as I’m sure many others did :(

This was the first movie my dad saw in theaters very cool to rewatch with him. Visual effects were so impressive what an adventure and magical world. Few unpleasant 1950s things to watch. The rough handling of some sea turtles was crazy. Otherwise a nautical piece of family fun and history!!
