Christopher Nolan’s interstellar is an incredible sci-fi movie, and upon rewatch i actually believe i enjoyed it even more than my original watch through, but i still personally view it as slightly overrated. Don’t get me wrong, this film is a masterpiece in terms of narrative, score, acting and cinematography, but i perceive the movie to drag out in parts, for example, the whole altercation with Matt Damon’s character Dr Mann. Surprised it took me this long to watch but what a movie. Genuinely unsettling from the first scene to the very last. Jodie Foster is excellent as Clarice, but Anthony Hopkins stole the show for me, in one of those performances that make you fully aware that he is a generational actor, outstanding performance. Overall: 4.6/5

The animation is wonderful, the pacing is deliberate, the cinematography is careful and beautiful, the voice actors are brilliant. Just such a good movie that…
