  Tim key was in this which was weird but cool.
  Mark Buffalo's acting and the overall portrayal of a populist leader was insanely accurate and insanely funny. Rober Pattinson did well playing two of the same person with different personalities and the voices were very consistent. The plot was a great concept done really well, it gave way for an incredible metaphor for balancing emotions, self hatred and self sacrifice. The aliens were a fairly obvious nod to how we treat those different from us but im kind of confused why they didn't elaborate on their connection with Mickey beyond "secret"

  "I'm a slave to freedom"
  Perfect ending to a perfect story. War, humanity and connection were so woven into every visual, audio and dialogue in this film but none as semantically important as freedom. I didn't really like the post credits however. I know that history repeats itself and war will always exist as long as humans do but did they need to show that at the end. Was it all for nothing then? Or does it not matter because…

  Honestly proof that all you need is a good story and a few good songs for a very emotional film
