  Terrible movie to bring your baby to. 3-4 year old cried through the ending. I felt like crying too, the long ending killed it for me. Even though rpatz is my catnip and it was so much fun, it's a 6/10 would not watch again!

  It's a really good documentary. The rating isn't just because I agree with the politics.

  One documentary can't do everything. This did well at the aspect it focused in on. I feel like reaching out to one specific group of people who do have the potential to change the political landscape was a good decision, and the most effective way to present a documentary. I also feel like saying anything more about my personal thoughts would be unwarranted.

  y'know, it wasn't the story I wanted it to tell, but it wasn't a bad story.

  joker is a great movie. the backdrop of arthurs struggle with mental illness was a society failing individuals. it really was about personal struggle, not collective struggle. but everyone is struggling, so people irl read it as institutions failing society instead of the intended narrative.

  From a Coppola film, disappointing. Given the controversy surrounding this, I was expecting worse though and actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

  Editing is fantastic, I loved the headlines, the three paneled shots, the small shots playing with the aspect ratio, the coloring and shot composition.

  Acting was good all around. The opening I take issue with, the to be or not to be speech is confusing and Cesars characterization seems out of place with the rest of the movie.…
