  This film may be well shot and have great performances, but I spent the whole time just being weirded and grossed out by the wildly inappropriate relationship between the two main characters. I wonder - if the genders were switched, would the reactions have been different? It REALLY seemed to romanticise a 25 year old being sexually attracted to a 15 year old, and it really didn't sit right with me.
  And the racism towards Japanese people really left a bad taste in my mouth.
  Even without the problematic stuff, I thought it was pretty boring.
