Woman of the Hour 2023
I feel like this was marketed as a movie that gives a voice to the victims and tells their story. I was expecting something like the book Bright Young Women but in movie form, and that’s not at all what this was.

The Brutalist 2024
This movie was not at all what I expected. The women are nonexistent. Genuinely every woman character felt like an afterthought. I also don’t feel like rape scenes are necessary at all. And the Zionist propaganda… I was so disappointed when that messaging began working its way into the story. I thought there was potential with this film but these elements overpowered it all for me and put quite a sour taste in my mouth.
