The Northman 2022
Hadn’t seen this since the theatre and honestly I appreciate it more on the second watch. It may stand in the overbearing shadows of Eggers’ previous films and somehow feel like it pulled its punches, but I see the vision clearer. I’m even more excited for Nosferatu now.

But there are movies that rub up against the genre that are some of my favourites of all time… The Shining, The Lighthouse, Silence of the Lambs… the latter of which Longlegs was heavily compared to in reviews.
