The Year of the Cannibals 1970
I’ve never heard of the Greek tragedy of Antigone. Maybe knowing what it was would’ve helped. I find it cool that the director put a political spin on it and in doing so could relate it to fascism and how it’s up to the people to start over without the government, and through acts of human decency, help eachother. BUT. it was way too weird and done in an extremely confusing way and just way way way too weird I feel like there’s better ways to send that message idek, im going to bed.

I love Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Timothee Chalamet. Wish they would’ve done his whole life but they chose a good point in his life to make a movie on nonetheless. You don’t really learn anything about him sadly, would’ve been nice because he’s such an intriguing person. Subtitles would’ve blessed this movie like crazy
