A Real Pain 2024
I really enjoyed this film, it may be my favorite film of the year. I've always enjoyed the off couple character dynamic in films and even though this one plays it a bit more serious, I like how that dynamic is applied here as well.
I thought the DP absolutely crushed it because the film is full of beautiful shots of the Polish countryside and villages as well.
Lastly I thought the ending of the film was wonderful and complex in a way that most films in this subgenre rarely are.
