This scratched such a deep itch that I’ve been needing to fulfill for quite a while. I’ve been waiting for this movie to come to a streaming service for so long, and I was craving a colonial era period piece so bad, and it did not disappoint.

This movie just did not do it for me. Performances were all mid. Zac Efron was way too jacked it looked so out of place and lowkey made me a lil uncomfy. Felt like after the death of the first brother everything just lost its punch. Solid sad true story I just think wasn’t handled great and just didn’t land for me. Sorry to those involved.
