Can we get Dennis Quaid in a Vince McMahon biopic but played the exact same way?

    Hoop-Tober V: 100 Years of Horror Film #4

A visually stunning masterpiece of the horror genre, Suspiria is one of the finest films ever made. It deserves every one of the five stars that I gave it last time around.

The best part of this re-watch was that by the time the movie ended, my cat was asleep on my chest so I didn't want to move. I ended up falling asleep to the theme (thank you Goblin) on the blu-ray menu.

On a side note I just purchased the Synapse Films collector's edition, blu-ray, steelbook at HorrorHound Weekend Indianapolis last month.

This is actually a huge improvement over the first one, and manages to take a lot of inspiration and cues from Terrifier 2.

    Expanded lore? Check.
    Higher body count? Check.
Better gore fx and prosthetics? Check.
    More emotional weight? Check.

It is very easy to dismiss this movie because of the whacky concept, but as slasher flick it actually doesn't do too bad. The writing isn't very good and some of the dark scenes are shot poorly, but it still…

    Hoop-Tober V: 100 Years of Horror Film #17

Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is arguably the finest horror film ever made. Since its release, it has influenced literally hundreds of movies and pop culture. The infamous shower scene is iconic, and Anthony Perkin's performance as Norman Bates elicits sympathy from the audience in a way that becomes very effective once the twist at the end occurs. This movie is bold, beautiful, and damn near flawless.

    Supplemental Hoop-Tober V: Volume III

"You don't know what death is!"

It's one of those movies I have seen a hundred times, but always have a blast watching. There are some glaringly obvious flaws (particularly the first of many attempts at giving Michael Myers some kind of motivation), but I could watch Donald Pleasence run around with a gun and shouting for hours.
