if the public sees liza as a barrel of sequins and glamor, they’ve got her wrong
the graphics: ok so I think we should make the letters on the talking heads interviews as sparkly as possible, and then we should also do a glittery background for every title card and use a sound effect that sounds sparkly every time we cut to a new one
we need to talk about kevin, more specifically we need to talk about who styled his hair in the final scene. what the heck was going on with that? did the stylist have a vendetta against james marsden for some reason?
an absolute slay from top to bottom (and there were many tops and many bottoms present)
some beautiful moments, but a little slowww for me overall. feels very ambient and floaty in its style, which might work for other viewers, but I found myself longing for more details & connective tissue throughout. also hard to feel invested in the romantic plot when anu’s boyfriend feels so flat as a character? very interested in parvaty’s arc though & I could stare at kani kusruti’s face for hours
