Some wild pacing ngl, the first death scene is really cool...then its pretty boring and slow for the majority of the film besides a scene here or there and then the ending is like the best part of the film but the pacing is way too fast there lol. I think the lighting can be really nice throughout tho I was also expecting more on that front and the acting is mostly not great. Idk if it was because of the english dub or not idk. Idk, decent film overall and it does some cool things but I'm also a bit disappointed tbh lol.

The inital 3/4th's really weren't doing it for me at all and just felt like a worse version of both Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy. Last fourth was more enjoyable tho but not enough to make this great in my eyes. It's very okay and I think the memes are better than the movie itself.

Cinematography was amazing honestly, especially for a 1971 film. The violence and even more so graphic r*pe was disturbing but effective in portraying Alex and his gang as pieces of shit.
