What i love most about Twin Peaks (movie & show) is how it’s all absolutely grounded in compassion. Hell, even the soundtrack progresses from the ominous and dark to the bittersweet and tragic (Laura’s theme can genuinely make me cry.) Lynch fr urges the audience into viewing the world and each other with the same tenderness and heart that he directs towards his characters.
