What a film. This movie incorporates the best things about the first film and expounds upon them by telling two intertwined stories. De Niro and Pacino capture their characters in an incredible way, you see them as Vito and Michael Corleone, rather than famous actors. The moral aspects and themes are rich and complex. This movie is really a masterpiece of a film, and possibly the greatest sequel of all time.

My Neighbor Totoro 1988
While I didn't find this film as moving as other Studio Ghibli works, it was extremely cute, playful, and beautifully animated. The bond shared between both sisters is really sweet, and the older of the two comes across as a very complex character. I'm thankful that this movie had a happy ending. There's no way I could've watched if something had happened to the mother of the family.
I do wish they played into the supernatural/fantastical elements.

The General 1926
The stunts and practical effects in this movie were so ahead of their time and wildly entertaining. Despite being a silent film, I was quite engaged throughout the runtime. Buster Keaton's acting and directorial performances contribute to what may be one of the greatest and most impressive contributions to a film of any one person.
