Awesome little short film, they did exactly what they set out to do with this one, which is to put you in the shoes of the character, you arent supposed to know much about the larger story but IMO that only aids to its uncomfortableness. It is just very uncomfortable to watch in the most appreciable way possible.

My Neighbor Totoro 1988
An uplifting story about the innocence of childhood, it had me tearing up on more than one occasion. Everything from the voice acting and the brilliantly laid-out narrative beats left me inspired by what animation is capable of. The scenes with the titular "Totoro" were so incredibly magical and mystical, and were never scary as the tone of the movie was so incredibly innocent and fun.

The General 1926
A truly brilliant movie from the silent era, with amazing stunt choreography and strong characterization. It is one of the funniest films I've seen, which surprised me. What surprised me more is just how quick and pacy the movie felt, visual gags and comedic scenarios were often setup but not fully explained, instead you just got to see the punchline. I actually appreciated this, they fit so many iconic and funny moments into a relatively short movie with this strategy, Ofcourse with so many shots of the train and that killer soundtrack, you begin to grow fond of The General yourself.
