  Pro: beautiful period piece, general dissonance, emotional close ups of hands and landscapes. Twisted up emotions. Sneakily dynamic camera.
  Con: much of the film spent watching an obviously exceptional woman dote over boring gentlemen. 
  Pro: reminds us not to trust handsome English gentlemen
  Moral: Never stop writing.

  A black woman is saved by eating a white womans fried chicken.
