This reminds me of a Wes Anderson film, and I’d even say Director Jeunet is better in terms of the consistency in his visual execution. I will never not love this movie. This is the third time I’ve watched it with my last viewing being 14 years ago (2011). A truly original story, amazing performances by Carey and Winslet, and underrated cinematography. In my opinion this is the best execution of any indie film to date.

Conclave 2024
I was not able to concentrate this night and wasn’t really paying attention for the entire movie. With this being labeled as a thriller I was expecting some big scandal or assassination but it never happened. From what I saw, I thought this movie was pretty average. I’ll have to watch again to give it a true rating but that probably won’t happen lol.
