  Suspenseful, expertly paced and brimming with talent. I was captivated every moment, I'm not even remotely Catholic. The climax made everyone watching gasp with such sincere and satisfying surprise that to say any more would do a disserive to the film.

  I really wanted to love this. On paper it has everything: lavish visuals, stunning wardrobe, the return of a 90s icon, Coppola fam cred, Vegas baby, Jamie Lee (fucking!) Curtis! But oh no, it was very bad. Pam's acting made me feel as though I was watching an old episode of that reality TV show with the Playboy bunnies. Jamie Lee (fucking!) Curtis carries this movie and her role is pretty superfluous to the plot. I shed a tear, not for the lost glamour the movie was attempting to write a love letter to, but for how disappointed I was.

  A riot. An uplifting, political and well-executed message about the importance of poetry as a tool for protest all through a debaucherous lens. Each member of the kneecap trio gets their own well-developed narrative arc alongside the story of their rise. Chuck in a little historical lesson about Northern Ireland and the Irish language, and what a delightfully fucked up night out of a movie.
