  “You can’t really dust for vomit.”
  One of the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen in a film. Wow, This is Spinal Tap is pure mockamentary genius. The songs are hilarious and are ironically great? The script is so smart with its comedy and you’ll be laughing frequently. It’s a shame I’ve never seen this before. Christopher Guest as Nigel Tufnel is a revelation. Endless amounts of rewatch value.

  I had a lot of fun with Companion. Perfectly serviceable Horror/Romance film. It’s a lot better and clever than a lot of other films within the genre. But this had so much more potential to really be great. The directing and writing is good but I felt like Companion was way too lack and could’ve benefited with going for it more and taking larger swings when it comes to kills, story points or even the use of the characters.   Very very enjoyable…. But there are some very dumb and ridiculous moments in this film. Probably my least favorite of the trilogy, but I’d still recommend this film to anyone. Ti West is an intriguing director and the studio/A24 really lets him do whatever he wants (kudos). It is what it is but it’s the least consistent film of the three. The first half of MaXXXine is honestly great, but the second half really bogs it down. It’s nonsense thrown…
