  A Bay of Blood 1971

  …. What the hell was that ending??? 😭

  But in all seriousness I did enjoy aspects of this movie. The score was fantastic.  Some of the deaths in this were gruesome, some hilarious, some both. A big problem for me was the son in law who got introduced look exactly like the real estate fella, and that confused me more than I’d like to admit. 

  Back to the ending though… will avoid spoilers for this almost 60 year old movie, but it’s gotta be in the running for most shocking endings to a film of all time.

  Liked this film but was expecting it to be a little more exciting? I’m not sure but I was under the impression this film was a masterpiece and I wouldn’t necessarily agree with that… *ducks*

  - Superb female lead
  - Great visuals and atmosphere 
  - can’t stand Gorman and Burke
  - Every other supporting actor/actress is great
  - “Game over man, game over!” Hahaha
  - love the relationship between Burke and newt
  - this Burke guy is a real piece of work 

  Loved every second of this film. I was a little worried watching this hot off MI: Fallout, but it did not disappoint. For sure one of my favorites.

  The Panic in Needle Park 1971

  First off, incredible performances by Al Pacino and Kitty Winn.

  A very hard watch, and these types of movies always make me so sad, but it painted a very vivid picture of the harrowing effects of drugs and addiction without glamorizing it.
