Take the innocence of being a kid and playing with things like Ouija Boards and bring it to a modern day setting with a twist. What seems like all fun and games goes horribly and terrifyingly wrong when someone doesn't play by the rules.
This movie was layered with story and emotion, filmed in a way that grounded it in reality, and blew me away with the camera work and practical effects. There is one scene that will live in…

Appreciated the gothic thrill of a murder mystery at a time where we didn't have DNA or any technology for that matter. Loved the performance of Poe. I don't know if any of this was factual but it was entertaining to say the least. One thing though throughout the movie it did feel awkward having Christian Bale the American in the mix of all those Englishman. Didn't feel as authentic as it could have been.

Going in I expected this to be like any other quarantined/isolated scenarios we have scene before. Surprisingly this one used those elements to tell a little more of a realistic storyline with the family dynamic. The event in which this family endures and the effects it plays on them left me tense and at times uncomfortable in the choices that were being made. The end result was better then expected but could have given me just a little more. But other than then I really enjoyed this one.

A heartbreaking story of forgiveness. The performances were emotional and captivating. I would never be able to face the reality of the situation these families had to endure.
