Mickey 17 2025
Casting Nasha as a Black woman was the perfect choice. I do wish we got to understand her character more outside of just the sexual nature of her relationship with Mickey, so the ending feels more, idk, earned in terms of the choices everyone is making. Not just her, though. Everyone.

Queer. Fantastical. Whimsical. Dark. Hilarious. And it's very much Yorgos Lanthimos, for better or worse. Filled with so much life & has more to say about the patriarchy and capitalism than Barbie which the world seemed to love.
