  Faces 1968

  Kind of obsessed with it the more i think about it. The depiction of gender roles still resonates. Women tiptoeing and adjusting tactics to appease the ego/avoid the wrath of severely stunted and juvenile men. The subtle emotional shifts in Lynn Carlin and Gena Rowlands juxtaposed with the over the top male performances were a masterclass in acting. 

  I’m gonna be thinking about this one for a while. My biggest take away: Tell a man he’s not funny, he will ask for a divorce. Do with that what you will, ladies.

  Guys! There is a comedy in theaters! An actual real life comedy!!  And it was good! A fun homage to Friday that doesn’t quite stick the landing but worth seeing in theaters. 

  SZA and Keke have great chemistry. Cynthia and Ariana… sleep with on eye open.

  This is a comedy. I refuse to view it as anything else. Antonio Banderas is a scene stealer.

  Nosferatu 2024

  A testament to the fact that you can’t just let anybody in your house. Some friends will get you and your whole family drained of blood. Dr. Robotnic was really good in this. I’m glad he’s expanding his career choices. Overall it was beautiful. Lily Rose Depp was great in it. Watch out Mia Goth. You have another little horror freak to contend with. 

  Lastly, everyone was breathing too hard.
