  The Companion writers are like a first-time home-construction team; they built a pretty house with a nice green lawn, and all of us saw the “Open House” sign and walked right in.

  The home seems impressive at first, but as soon as you make it past the welcome mat, you immediately see they used cardboard for walls, crayons for paint, and there’s actually no plumbing or electricity whatsoever.

  You forgive the crayons for paint at first, but the house only continues…

  What a great piece of art. The first time I saw this it stayed with me. The ideas kept lingering in my head, I couldn't stop thinking about it for days, weeks, months even. Those are the kind of movies I rate well.

  It Comes at Night is an eerie exploration of a apocalyptic world where you fear the next time you walk outside—even during the day! The idea of something being in the air is a scary thought in and of itself.

  This is a great watch if you enjoy suspenseful thrillers with a hint of the supernatural that leaves much to question.

  So much better than Madame Web.

  You can definitely feel the much heavier reliance on CG from its predecessor Fury Road.

  Was also really cool to see Quadra Bayles in a movie as big as this after all of the drama around his bullying for his dwarfism.
