i like that it does not shy away from the racism aspect. i imagine its easy for smn to do that in an othello adaptation & have it be more implicit (all night long did so) but this doesnt.

oh beautiful. so so so beautiful. the way he mirrors juan in his adult life bc that was his only positive male figure. the colors. the sex scene (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). the blood. the intermingling between violence and love. the fact his name is chiron spelled like the centaur who was gentle and wise. the abrupt ending w no catharsis. augh!!!
