I’m a trial lawyer. My wife is a prosecutor. Watching this together, a few things come to mind.
1. The movie elegantly portrays many aspects of the profession. For example, the ethics of interviewing witnesses, finding that obscure precedent through research, and asking the one question too many in cross-examination.
2. I especially like how all the lawyers instinctively understand that cases are often won or lost on the facts and circumstances but may not be legally relevant, especially when decisions are made by a jury.
3. Prosecutors are almost always the antagonist in courtroom dramas.
