Queer 2024
Luca captured intimacy between the characters in this film with such intention that has left me in awe and point blank confused. Whilst visually stunning, I felt that as usual everything had a place and intention, few of which are easier to compute than others. I view this as a complementing feature to Luca's films and a demonstration of his unique take on film.

We Live in Time 2024
Whilst I surprisingly did not cry, I found this film very wholesome. I do think that Florence and Andrew's characters were simply themselves left to play family. They found a way to capture a human experience so devastatingly common, whilst displaying negatively anticipating grief as a choice that can be overridden with people in your corner.
