Hacksaw Ridge is an intense yet incredible watch. Andrew Garfields performance as Desmond Doss was phenomenal. And knowing it’s a true story makes it even crazier —like, this guy really did all that without a weapon?
Bohemian Rhapsody is less of a movie and more of a full-blown Queen concert with a side of emotional damage. Rami Malek plays Freddie Mercury like rent was due—he absolutely nailed it. The Live Aid scene never fails to give me goosebumps.

I might be a bit biased since the original Mulan is one of my favourites, but I actually enjoyed the live-action version—shockingly, no childhood was ruined in the process. I loved that Mulan got to be a badass without being distracted by a love interest, and her dad’s acting had me on the verge of tears . Do I miss Mushu? Absolutely. But I do like that this version did its own thing instead of being a copy-paste remake. Nothing will ever top the original, but it was good.
