    Sharknado 2: The Second One

This film is the same as "Twisters" if you're NOT strangely horny for Glen Powell: pointless, stupid, and filled with anguished cries of dying acting careers.

But it is entertaining! There's no pretension when using a chainsaw on tornado sharks.

Also there's a super valuable lesson here for studios as the budget on this was fractional by comparison to other weather-based summer films but it made LOADS of cash. You don't need Glen Powell, he costs too much. You need cheesy CGI sharks and aging celebrities.

I'm not a Christmas/Holiday Special kind of person.

But I loved this so I guess in the end holiday spirit is a sliding scale more than just a binary choice of being humbug or jolly.

I had no idea who most of the non-singers were but seeing Sean Astin reassured me all of us over 35 were OK to be there.

Thank you, Sean and Sabrina for providing visual cues to the acceptability of our advanced age and masculine disposition…
