I’m giving this 4 stars (which I’m still iffy on) but experience-wise it loses 1/2 - 1 star because the trailers make it very clear what the premise is and who/what Iris is, but it’s very blatant that the audience is not supposed to know for the first 30 mins or so into the movie.
The industry has been loving Jack Quaid recently but I’m not mad at it.
The pacing and overall energy of the movie was all over…

Between the British accents, the mumbling, and the special agent jargon I have no idea what was actually going on with “the severance”
I like how many small turns this movie had! There were no major shocks but it subverted my expectations a lot.
Nothing much to say. It was nice and the time flew by. Not that I’m disappointed but don’t watch of you’re expecting an action packed spy thriller.
I would watch this again.

I was so SO ready to love the fuck out of this movie. For a second I thought I did, but the longer I let it sit, the more I realize I’ve been blinded by the fact that I am simply in love with Ayo Edebiri. I adore her in almost everything I’ve seen her in, and since seeing Being John Malkovich he’s creeped onto my radar a bit. I hate how I’ve been disappointed.
I appreciate a cult movie…

Between 3 1/2 - 4 stars I am conflicted!
I’ve been trained to take when people say there’s gay people in a movie with a grain of salt. But holy shit they’re gay!
I was ready to give this movie 2 1/2 stars for the longest time because of how the beginning dragged out and nothing made sense and there were so many different things happening that were hardly acknowledged.
Fascinated: nothing truly pieced together until the credits were rolling.…
