  I wish Nova could be excised from the movie (I get why she doesn't talk the whole time, but her dynamic with Heston creeps me out), it takes too long for the apes to show up and Heston's Taylor is so smug and unlikeable. But despite all that, the last 20 minutes (not just the final shot!) are so undeniably goddamn good.

  Anybody else not surprised that of all the Chicago 7 to "change their stance" on capitalism, it was Jerry Fucking Rubin? I mean... he fell for a cop.
