Mickey 17 2025
The opening is fantastic but then the pacing slipped a bit and never got back to the highs in the opening. The movie is funny, over the top, and takes inspiration from Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind of all movies. The acting is all very well done and loved the cgi space insects. Mickey 17 is a solid time at the movies!

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023
It’s no Indy classic, but it’s certainly a fun time, especially if you have fond memories of the earlier movies. We see an aging Indy question his place in history that he has spent so many adventures chasing, and I think that was the exact right tone that this film needed
