  I’ll be honest, it was glaringly obvious this was the director’s debut. The acting and script were pretty cringe at times too.

  BUT it still ended up working well enough, with a pretty strong emotional pull and a good ending.

  ALSO: they reference a dog named Charlie. And MY name is Charlie!!!

  NOT EVEN KIDDING SELENA GOMEZ CAME OUT AT THE END OF THE MOVIE !!! WTF !!!!!

  This movie is quite the conundrum. It is enchantingly creative and the vibe is mesmerizing. It is truly a unique experience. But it is not a good movie. Like VERY poorly defined character motivations and reasons for plot advancements. But it is still really cool, especially the usage of music. James Franco honestly carries the shit out of this too.
