  pacing and performances were incredible, and i actually didn’t mind the zooms as much as i usually would, just because the differing formats made it make sense 

  i didn’t feel deeply invested emotionally (likely bc i wanted to stay neutral to the case to avoid bias…), but i couldn’t look away. 
  this is one of those movies that you think about for weeks, then months, then years      also super super intense recording, that was tough

  really enjoyed this, especially the photography

  one thing i really liked about The Silence of the Lambs is when they chose to reveal Buffalo Bill. Longlegs shows Longlegs early but for such a quick second so that it haunts you, just as it did for Agent Harker. the editing was  so great — giving the audience splices of images that were burned into Lee’s brain

  whenever i enjoy a generational trauma movie too much, i get to thinking …….
