Current Bond era: Moore
Honestly, good as hell. It has a lot going for it- a villain whose motivation makes no sense, massive practical sets, several babes, a pair of guys who are Short/Fat and Tall/Skinny, comedy moments that are actually funny and not distracting or detrimental, and several well-shot, exciting fight scenes. Plus it has a fun Spy Vs. Spy dynamic that you don't actually really see very much.

There's a couple fun performances, some cool sets, some legitimately stunning babes, at least one actually fun fight scene, and some great location work. Unfortunately that's all overshadowed by Sheriff JW Pepper, and the fucking slide whistle. Also the funhouse corridor is dumb. Scaramanga himself dies like a chump
I laughed so hard I almost threw up like two or three times.
I had to pause the movie after about half an hour and was genuinely surprised that I still had over an hour to go, felt like I had already watched an entire movie. That's a compliment, because it's so dense and wacky it felt like an entire movie's worth.
Cannot stress enough- really funny and good. By the end of the movie, my face hurt from smiling so much.
