  too long, and yet i felt like this movie ran full-speed through so much of the important character development at the beginning, as if only to make room for more stunts in the remaining two-thirds of it. clearly a love-letter to stunt performers, but if you wanted to make that, why put a love story and crime-solving/mystery inside of that? not everything has to do everything all of the time. with the source material being a television show—which allows characters and viewers room to breathe—maybe this should have been some streaming-service-slop instead?
