Hands down best Disney movie, come at me. Watched it in Hebrew today and it was just as enjoyable with some slightly weirder song interpretations.

Les Misérables 2012
Well well well, I finally caved and watched the movie version of one of my latest musical obsessions and was as disappointed as anticipated. Within in the first 5 minutes Russell Crowe completely disgraces the role of Javert. WHO CAST HIM?? Now, the only redeeming quality (and reason I can’t rate it lower) was some of the moving emotional solos, particularly by Anne and Eddie.

The Wild Robot 2024
For the first time I took myself out on a solo movie date to see this movie. It seemed like the perfect choice given that it was made for children and would get me home before 10pm on a work night.
This movie has some of the well-loved, and some might say overused, non-human character qualities; the emotional caregiving robot (Wall-E, Big Hero 6), a misunderstood and friendless fox (Zootopia), and the runt who needs to accept who they are…
