This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
7/10, a 3 out of 5. Now, when comparing the film to it’s predecessor, there are definitely aspects of the original that were not translated, or done so well, into the live-action. The live action holds up and it alone with no comparison, is a solid film; however, its predecessor captures an atmosphere and build that I feel this iteration failed to build-on in an attempt to make it stand out from the animation.
THE NOT-SO-GOOD…

8.5/10. Hands down, one of the better film scores I’ve heard for a Disney movie. The movie has charm, doesn’t take itself seriously, light hearted, and overall a joy to watch. Certain Disney films have troubles balancing the dark with the lighter tones, but this film excels in that balance. My only gripe, the finale to it all and Ursala… it seemed rushed and VERY oddly absurd… but all-in-all, great piece. But definitely CANNOT forget… “you gotta’… BATT your eyes, like ‘dis! … Chu’gotta’ pucka’ ya’ leeps… like dis’!”
Gone Girl (Short Review)

Overall: This movie gets a solid 4/5 stars rating from me, an 8.5/10.
