8.5/10. Hands down, one of the better film scores I’ve heard for a Disney movie. The movie has charm, doesn’t take itself seriously, light hearted, and overall a joy to watch. Certain Disney films have troubles balancing the dark with the lighter tones, but this film excels in that balance. My only gripe, the finale to it all and Ursala… it seemed rushed and VERY oddly absurd… but all-in-all, great piece. But definitely CANNOT forget… “you gotta’… BATT your eyes, like ‘dis! … Chu’gotta’ pucka’ ya’ leeps… like dis’!”

Now, as simplistic and mundane as that concept may sound, this film surprised me in so many ways, one of them being expectations, and you most certainly may not, or will not, be prepared for the twists…

Characters from every corner of the town, seem to have their own ambitions and motive, all with some sort of sinister belief or journey that, deemed to them, is necessary. Word…
