As someone who was born after the September 11 attacks it often feels like I was robbed the end of history. The way this film captures the soul crushing totality of living in a simulacrum unable to find any truth appart from self-destrution speaks to a general malaise I've moved through all my life. Idk society may be bad but it means I can watch wierd movies. It feels like the antithesis to love & pop in a way
Feels almost experimental in how blatantly functional all the characters are, the manner in which they essentially recite their character traits and purpose to camera feels almost brechtian at parts
