The performances were solid, the cinematography was absolutely gorgeous and the appreciation of architecture as an art form was beautiful to see. That being said, The Brutalist suffered from being slightly too long. The first half, whilst great, lost my interest to the point that I was glad to see the intermission screen. Second half however was brilliant and well worth the watch. Very much a film of two halves.

Mickey's just like me for real, he enjoys a good steak.

Listen, I wasn't expecting to find this on Letterboxd and if it wasn't I would've added it myself. The work that Little Z and the whole team put into making arguably the perfect video game adaptation (78 hours of research) is incredible. As a fan of his regular content and also Nintendo and Smash as a whole, this was such a perfect piece of media. If you're a fan of Smash or video game movies, definitely check this out. It's brilliant.

Well that was an early 2000s Marvel Fans wet dream.

Ignore the naysayers, this film was pure entertainment from start to finish. Sure it's exactly what I expected, cameos galore but with some meaning, shitty Ryan Renyolds humor and classic Deadpool action scenes but it's just fun. And yes I did make a lot of noise at a certain scene.

The MCU is certainly back with a bang.

    Let's Fucking Go

(And yes I've spent my entire day learning the dance. Get ready term 1)
