  Script could have been a banger if it was tweaked by a pro. Just comes across as a semi-rough draft, despite the slick production.
  One of those missed potential type of deals, but what does land can land pretty hard. Which is mostly the action and Nicolas Tse having a firy aura.

  Action comfort food. No useless filler, just straight to the filling goodness. The taste of adrenaline. Great choreography, some decent buddy cop interactions, blaringly synthy score and a relentless pace. Sometimes that's all ya need. One of very few films in existence that actually deserves the marketing label of ''action-packed''.

  This movie makes mullets and the Brussels accent really cool. Which either means I'm mentally deranged or Woo and Van Damme did some excellent work here.

  It's basically a collection of perfect Rule of Cool examples and I love it.

  If you don't like Hard Target, we can't be friends.
