A masterpiece, I don’t care what anyone says, I don’t care how weird people think this is or how uncomfortable this may be, but I just can’t get over the cerebral journey this movie takes me on each time I watch this, it’s like taking an egg beater to the brain, my imagination goes into complete overdrive and it’s the most wild experience ever.
I can’t get over how intense the wide shot closeups are, or how the camera swings…

The Ghost of Yotsuya 1959
Fantastic, exactly the sort of Yokai movie I was looking for. Not overly complicated, a nice and simple ghost story. Great stuff, felt like it was straight out of a good old fashioned Japanese folklore book. Amazing use of visuals and colors too!
