  Liked this way more than I expected to. Definitely cried a couple times. Great casting, talented kid actor. Very moving score, manipulated perfectly. Kids in the theatre had a good time it seemed, and I heard LOTS of sniffles.

  This movie was so sweet and adorable. I loved its use of snapshots and quick moments/phrases to illustrate its childlike nature. It’s like recalling your own childhood and seeing only the little fragments and phrases, full of wonder and imagination. I had no doubt this movie would be good, and I’m glad to have watched it. Should probably watch again and pay more attention, because I think my friends got a lot more out of it than I did. But I still think it’s great.
