You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll fall in love. What more can you ask for in a movie?
This film exceeded my already exceedingly high expectations. It was shot so wonderfully and the trope cinema was used so well and the jazzy soundtrack was perfect. Maybe Emma Stone is the better Emma. Just kidding. But still a fantastic watch and an emotional one.

The Golem: How He Came Into the World 1920
A somewhat problematic view of the Jewish community with a skewed depiction of Jewish folklore. Still relatively progressive for the time and cool special effects as well as scenery. The German expressionist style is evident when seeing the Jewish ghetto and the curvature of the buildings. Overall, it is hard to finish as the silent aspect makes it quite a drag, but if you consider the movie is 103 years old, it does a good enough job telling a Jewish story but is not very true to the source material.
