  conceptually this could have been a movie about the shallowness of irony and relationships built on that, but thats not the movie that was put to film.

  what you get is 90 minutes about the most annoying guy you met in college except he's 35 and rich and bored and hangs out with his equally annoying friends.

  content warning: narcissist old mom antagonist. maybe that's not as triggering for everyone else as it is for me tho

  either way. great tension and pacing. simple and contained story that works as allegory and social criticism without needing to be about either. wonderful downer of an ending too
