This movie may have been more revolutionary in its time. The conclusions Godard has been led to are accepted by most people today. While his musings on language and his critique on bourgeois french life were entertaining and had some substance at some points, the rest of the time it kinda fell flat. I enjoy movies that just explore our everyday being-in-the-world, and I love the devices he uses to extract the inner thoughts of the people in Paris. This movie may be better after a couple watches, but I think I'll always believe this film is a product of its time.
